A virtual co-working space: you join a video room, sit at the table with other people and work or study in company. Camera on means presence — like sharing a café table, no hierarchies, no bosses.

Work: silence, speak only when needed. Pomodoro: focus blocks with muted mics and breaks to talk. Study: silent company. Chat: free conversation, like the office coffee corner. Cinema: a 24/7 movie channel where the room votes what to watch and comments freely. Karaoke: singing in turns — join the queue with your YouTube track's link and, when you're up, the track plays inside the room itself and travels along with your voice (on desktop Chrome or Edge; elsewhere you sing over the mic).

The timer belongs to the room, not to you: everyone sees the same block at the same time. Anyone can start it; pausing, resuming or stopping is the host's call. During focus, mics mute themselves and open again on every break. Join mid-block and you sync to whatever is running.

Anyone with an account. Pick a name, description, type and cover; the free plan includes 1 room of your own with capacity 8. With Pro you create unlimited, permanent rooms with capacity up to 20 and your own photo. Your room, your rules: you can lock it to new people anytime with the padlock.

A temporary room deletes itself when it empties out. A permanent one survives being empty — ideal as a fixed space for your team or community. One catch: if it goes 24 hours without a single visit, it gets deleted automatically.

Yes — when creating the room you can upload your own photo (or pick from our library). Important: an uploaded photo is final — it can't be changed later, so choose it with care.

Yes: on the room list, your room shows an edit pencil. You can change the name, description, website, capacity and permanence. The room type (pomodoro, chat, etc.) can only change while nobody is inside, because it redefines the rules of the space.

Every room has text chat. It doesn't open by itself: if messages arrive while the panel is closed, a dot appears on the icon. And one important thing: chat has no history — you only see messages sent after you arrived. Whatever was said before stays with those who were there.

A shared canvas to draw together. In work, study and chat rooms it's always available (2-person minimum). In pomodoro rooms it's a break activity: locked during focus and wiped clean when a new block starts. The cinema has no whiteboard — the screen is already taken.

The host puts on Radio Pomarola — our own station — and it plays for the whole room. Each person controls their own volume or mutes it for themselves from the music menu: your level never affects anyone else. In community rooms it isn't the host who decides but whoever has been inside longest.

The room host shares, and needs Pomarola Pro to turn it on (from the settings icon). Karaoke rooms work differently: there whoever is singing shares, and the permission moves with the turn.

It's a channel broadcasting movies 24/7 — you walk in and the showing is already rolling, like turning on the TV. The video club (side panel) shows the catalog: one click is your vote, and a simple majority of those present switches the feature. All titles are public domain, Creative Commons or official channels.

No. Video and audio travel live between participants and are never recorded or stored. Chat keeps no history visible to late arrivals either.

Joining public rooms is free and will stay free: what makes Pomarola worth it is the people inside. Creating 1 room of your own, with room for 8, is free too. Pomarola Pro (paid) is for whoever sets the table: unlimited permanent rooms, up to 20 seats, your own cover photo and screen sharing.
