Privacy Policy
This Policy explains what data we process and why. Pomarola is built to collect the minimum needed to run safely.
1. What we collect
• Account: your Google email, name and avatar at sign-in. • Profile: the display name and bio you choose. • Usage: rooms you create, session participation, reports and votes. • Security technical data: an HMAC fingerprint of your IP (not the raw IP) and the user-agent, to detect abuse and duplicate accounts.
2. What we do NOT do
We do not record session video or audio. We do not sell or rent your data. We do not use your content to train models.
3. How we use data
To operate the Service (connect you to rooms, show your name/avatar to those present), for safety and moderation (preventing and responding to abuse), and to comply with legal obligations.
4. Who we share with
With the providers that run the Service, as data processors: Supabase (database and auth), LiveKit (real-time video/audio transport) and Vercel (hosting). Also with authorities where the law requires it. No other disclosures.
5. International transfers
Some providers operate in the United States, so your data may be processed outside your country. We choose providers with recognized security standards.
6. Retention
We keep your data while you have an account. If you delete it from Settings, we remove associated data, except what we must keep for legal reasons or to resolve disputes or abuse.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct and delete your data. Most actions are in Settings (edit profile, delete account). For other requests, write to hola@pomarola.com.
8. Minors
Pomarola is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor used the Service, contact us and we will act.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy; if changes are material we will give notice. Questions: hola@pomarola.com.
